Everything was packed, from my freshly waxed skis to my sauna towel to my shampoo and conditioner. I was good to go. I got out of class and, as I was walking to my car, I realized that I had forgotten my ski cap and my gator.
Go figure.
With a wind chill in the upper teens, I didn’t want to go without my gator. My lungs wouldn’t appreciate that. They like the incoming warmed air. I had to think fast. I had to work out. I…went to the SDC and weight trained for 20 minutes. I hit the sauna, showered, and made my way to dinner.

Nice save indeed! Ok, basically I was super packed for the day: 2 meals, 2 snacks, 2 sets of clothes (1 for tonight’s elem. holiday concert)… you get the picture. Oh, 2 bags too! One was my gym bag – MINUS gym clothes!??!!?? Ugh. I realized it as soon as I hit the main road after battling deep snow all the way there. No way was I turning back! And here I am… not feeling very indoor trainer tonight. bah! Tomorrow I’ll work extra hard. Skiing Thursday – yay!
What do you usually pack for lunch? I’m still trying to figure out the convenience thing. I don’t really have microwave access, and I’m trying to cut costs and increase nutrition.
