Today, I went snowshoeing with Ken. Unfortunately for Ken, I am not an expert of Marquette hot spots. Unfortunately for me, Marquette’s hot spots aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.

We snowshoed at Sugarloaf, today. I was under the impression that Sugarloaf was supposed to be this grand area with a grand view. Spectacular is what I was searching for. Spectacular certainly is not what I found.

Over the course of a short, 50-minute snowshoe hike, I managed to acquire a nice photo of the sun setting over Marquette. I hope tomorrow’s journey will be a little more spectacular.
