Some of you may be familiar with the fact that I am a poor, college student. Sure, I work part time as an ultrasound tech, but it doesn’t pay all of the bills. It surely doesn’t pay for school.

Some of you may also know that this web site is my first love. I love maintaining a mountain biking site, promoting area trails, and blogging for a diverse readership.

I like to write. I don’t write fiction. I have no imagination for that, but I do love writing instructional and informational pieces. Fortunately for me, someone is willing to listen.

Before I move forward, I would like to thank Andrea for her inspiration and her willingness to share her experiences with us. It is because of her that I entertained the thought of pursuing my second career, if that is what you want to call it.

I have recently started writing for a couple of online media groups. I recognize that there is a lot of hard work ahead of me if I want to make this happen, but I’ve already generated an income in just a couple of days, and it’s something that I think I can work with for a while. For this reason, I have found a use for another online toy: Twitter!
