Another Di Update

It has been a while since I last posted. Bad Di. I really have been busy, and Moronacity takes a backseat when I’m busy. I’ve been working on editing the MMBA’s Bent Rim Bugle which will come out by the end of the month. On top of article editing, I have to update the sponsor and membership list that always appears on the last page of the magazine/newsletter. This is new for me and it is going to take some work and questions will be asked. The second project I’ve been working on are my Suite 101 articles. I’ve recently acquired the Feature Writer position for the Biology topic on the website. I am excited about this. My revenue earnings have gotten … Read entire article »

Update

It has been a while since I’ve last posted.  Life has certainly been a whirlwind, and I intend to share the highlights with you in the upcoming weeks. I haven’t been able to post because I’ve been in the middle of a move, working a job, losing a job, pursuing a full-time freelance career, and trying to reclaim my sanity.  I’m not so sure that last part has been achieved, but I am working on it.  I haven’t been riding my bike much, but I fully intend to resume regular rides, this week.  Life has changed quite a bit for me over the last few weeks, and it might just be for the better. In the meantime, be patient.  I promise to resume regular posting, soon. *** Moronacity update:  software for the blog has … Read entire article »

National Mountain Biking Examiner

I received a great honor when I was given the opportunity to write as the National Mountain Biking Examiner for Examiner.com. I am excited to showcase my work for this organization. I hope you enjoy these articles. If there is anything you would like to read about, I am always open to suggestions. I will continue to write my personal experiences, here. This blog continues to be an excellent outlet for my frustrations, a realistic reminder of how much I really do accomplish, and a fun place to showcase my art. It is therapeutic for me. I also value the opportunity to share my experiences with you. There will be times when my online column and my blog will compliment each other. It … Read entire article »

Vacation From Moronacity

Life has most certainly been busy! I made a mad dash back to the Upper Peninsula and have been super busy ever since. I arrived in Houghton, yesterday morning, and went straight to work for a 12-hour shift. I’m working the same shift today and tomorrow. Due to this rush, I am taking the rest of this week off from blogging to reorganize and get things back into a normal cycle. I’ll write more, Monday Tuesday. … Read entire article »

Moronacity and eHow

I recently started writing for eHow and another company for residual income. I am hoping that it will help fund this web site and the time I put into it. Naturally, some of the eHow articles I write are going to be cycling related. That’s just how I roll. I’ve written several cycling articles, so far, and I’ve decided to incorporate them into Moronacity. The new page with my articles is Cycling How To. Enjoy! … Read entire article »

Twitterlicious!

Twitterlicious!

Some of you may be familiar with the fact that I am a poor, college student. Sure, I work part time as an ultrasound tech, but it doesn’t pay all of the bills. It surely doesn’t pay for school. Some of you may also know that this web site is my first love. I love maintaining a mountain biking site, promoting area trails, and blogging for a diverse readership. I like … Read entire article »

A Scheduled Interruption

Trying to keep up with a blog can be a lot of work, especially in the spring when life isn’t all that inspiring. I’ve decided that I need to take a little time to focus on other commitments and to clear my mind. For the first time since I started blogging, last March, I’ve decided to take some time off. Your somewhat regularly scheduled blog will resume next Tuesday, April 7. … Read entire article »
