I’ve been working on editing the MMBA’s Bent Rim Bugle which will come out by the end of the month. On top of article editing, I have to update the sponsor and membership list that always appears on the last page of the magazine/newsletter. This is new for me and it is going to take some work and questions will be asked.

The second project I’ve been working on are my Suite 101 articles. I’ve recently acquired the Feature Writer position for the Biology topic on the website. I am excited about this. My revenue earnings have gotten a bump in percentage earned because of my new promotion. With this new promotion comes a new quota, so I’ve been writing lots of articles to meet that quota.

I also have a Feature Writer blog, so I need to come up with nearly-daily blog topics. This should be interesting. It is a lot of mental work to come up with topics and learn about new things, but I am very excited to take this to a new level. Wish me luck!

In the meantime, I am going to work on spending some time with Moronacity more frequently. After all, this is my little niche in the vast world that is the Internet.

I haven’t been able to post because I’ve been in the middle of a move, working a job, losing a job, pursuing a full-time freelance career, and trying to reclaim my sanity.  I’m not so sure that last part has been achieved, but I am working on it.  I haven’t been riding my bike much, but I fully intend to resume regular rides, this week.  Life has changed quite a bit for me over the last few weeks, and it might just be for the better.

In the meantime, be patient.  I promise to resume regular posting, soon.

I will continue to write my personal experiences, here. This blog continues to be an excellent outlet for my frustrations, a realistic reminder of how much I really do accomplish, and a fun place to showcase my art. It is therapeutic for me. I also value the opportunity to share my experiences with you.

There will be times when my online column and my blog will compliment each other. It will be very interesting to see where this leads.

Due to this rush, I am taking the rest of this week off from blogging to reorganize and get things back into a normal cycle. I’ll write more, Monday Tuesday.

Naturally, some of the eHow articles I write are going to be cycling related. That’s just how I roll. I’ve written several cycling articles, so far, and I’ve decided to incorporate them into Moronacity.

Some of you may also know that this web site is my first love. I love maintaining a mountain biking site, promoting area trails, and blogging for a diverse readership.

I like to write. I don’t write fiction. I have no imagination for that, but I do love writing instructional and informational pieces. Fortunately for me, someone is willing to listen.

Before I move forward, I would like to thank Andrea for her inspiration and her willingness to share her experiences with us. It is because of her that I entertained the thought of pursuing my second career, if that is what you want to call it.

I have recently started writing for a couple of online media groups. I recognize that there is a lot of hard work ahead of me if I want to make this happen, but I’ve already generated an income in just a couple of days, and it’s something that I think I can work with for a while. For this reason, I have found a use for another online toy: Twitter!
