A Quick Recipe for a Meal on the Go

Spring is here and the horse show season is about to begin. One of the things that should be on our minds, however, is what we are going to eat. Well there is a simple and healthy solution . . . the "wrap."

What you need: flour tortilla shell/pita/something that wraps, meat (thinly sliced), lettuce, cheese, mustard, etc.

What to do:

  1. Lay the shell/pita/whatever flat.
  2. Spread on mustard, miracle whip, cream cheese, whatever you like.
  3. Put on a thin layer of toppings such as turkey, ham, tomato, cheese, etc.
  4. Fold just the bottom over (and up) a little.
  5. Carefully and tightly roll the "wrap."
  6. Secure it with a toothpick or something if you so desire.
  7. Pack it for lunch later on in the day
