Cannonsburg Ski Area might fool you: it doesn't look difficult, but the hill grades are steep and aerobically challenging. Much of the trail is smooth and fast with some log piles sprinkled in. There are long, swooping stretches of trail with challenging cornering at high speeds. This is an intermediate cross country trail with some aerobically-advanced climbs. There is also a challenging freeride area towards the end of the CX trail.
