Moronacity Maasto Hiihto This is primarily a cross country ski trail system; however, there are some bike trails scattered throughout. Some trails lead to private property that is not open to bikes. The two tracks are intermediate trails with lots of rocky, technical terrain. The singletrack is intermediate and advanced and will challenge even the best riders. There are some advanced climbs that make most riders get off and walk. A guide is useful for navigating these trails. Maasto Hiihto connects to Churning Rapids. Return to Trail Guide

NOTE: There are two trailheads for Maasto Hiihto. One is at the Houghton County Fairgrounds. This map shows the Tomasi trailhead on Tomasi Dr. The marked area is beyond the correct location for the trailhead; however, it is on the correct section of Tomasi Drive and you may use this map to get to that section. You will see a kiosk at the trailhead on the right side of the road just past the Public Works station.
